Resources For Survivors: What Stepping Stone Offers

It’s sexual assault awareness month, and if you or someone you know has experienced sexual assault, you should know what resources are available to you. It’s important for survivors to know one thing first and foremost: you are not alone. At Stepping Stone, we’re committed to providing survivors with a safe, supportive, and confidential space to begin healing. If you need immediate shelter, emotional support, advocacy, or help accessing resources, our team is here for you every step of the way.

What Is Sexual Violence?

The term sexual violence is an all-encompassing, non-legal term used to describe crimes such as sexual assault, rape, and sexual abuse. These acts may occur alongside other forms of victimization, including domestic violence, intimate partner violence, human trafficking, or emotional abuse. While legal definitions can vary from state to state, the impact on survivors is profound. More information can be found here
